Rage Against Riverhead is a unique endurance event taking place from 23 to 24 November 2024 at Riverhead Forest in Auckland. Participants can choose to compete solo or as part of a relay team consisting of 2, 4, or 6 members, aiming to complete as many laps as possible within their chosen time frame of 8, 12, or 24 hours.
The course is set in a commercial pine forest, featuring a combination of smooth, flowing single trails and wider dirt tracks. Participants will encounter minimal gravel roads, with each lap incorporating approximately 60 meters of vertical gain, providing a moderate challenge. The layout allows for one runner on the course at a time, with transitions occurring directly outside each team’s designated tent area.
This event emphasizes endurance and camaraderie, attracting both seasoned runners and newcomers alike. It is organized by Lactic Turkey Events, known for their commitment to creating engaging running experiences. The event may also include post-race amenities, fostering a community atmosphere among participants and supporters.
