The Lake Dunstan Trail Marathon is scheduled to take place on 7th September 2025. The start line is in Clyde and the finish line is in Cromwell, the course taking participants along the scenic Lake Dunstan Cycling and Walking Trail.
The trail is well-maintained, and features a firm-packed surface suitable for running. The route includes approximately 800m of combined elevation, offering a challenging yet rewarding experience. Regular aid stations will be positioned along the route, negating the need for participants to carry their own supplies.
The race has a cap of 500 participants, ensuring a manageable crowd and an optimal running experience. The only event taking place during this day is the full marathon.
