Sprig & Fern 10K: Motueka

The Waimea Harriers Sprig & Fern running event will take place in Motueka on 23 August 2025. This event is the third out of four running events occurring in the Nelson area.

The event is open to all abilities, with an entry fee of $10 per participant, except for school children, youth students, and members of Waimea Harriers and Athletics Nelson who can enter for free.

The registration process begins at 1.20pm and concludes precisely at 2pm. The event has staggered start times to accommodate different participants: casual walkers and early runners start at 1:45pm, speed walkers and early runners start at 2:15pm, and the main running group commences at 2:30pm.

Participants also have an option to enter as a team and share the course, however, they are responsible for their transportation to and from the halfway mark.

The event is organized by Waimea Harriers and is part of the Sprig & Fern Series. The next event in the series will be held on 18 October 2025, while the previous one took place on 19 July 2025.
