The Solar Power NZ Skedaddle Trail Run is scheduled for 26 April 2025, and will take place at the picturesque Island Hills Station, located approximately 1.5 hours north of Christchurch. This event offers a variety of courses, all of which are point-to-point and traverse the beautiful singletrack of this working high country station, which is privately owned. The race derives its name from the highest point on the property, Mt Skedaddle.
A distinctive aspect of this event is its commitment to nature conservation. All proceeds from the race are directed towards the Mandamus Preservation Reserve, home to the largest QEII Open Space Covenant in Canterbury. The race offers participants the opportunity to enjoy the stunning landscape while contributing to an important cause.
