The Run Walk Play event is scheduled for 30 March 2025 at Pohlen Park, Matamata. The event features a two-lap course within the park and the neighboring Neil Algar Reserve, offering participants the opportunity to enjoy the semi-rural surroundings.
In addition to the main event, a shorter course is available for younger participants up to 10 years old.
The event is managed by Project Play, an initiative of Matamata Futures Inc. Proceeds from the event will be directed towards the construction of a new playground at Matamata Domain.
As part of the Run Walk Play series, this event follows the one held on 16 March 2025 and precedes the next one on 13 April 2025.
