The Kinloch Off Road Challenge near Taupō is scheduled to take place on 6th September 2025. The event features a range of running distances, traversing through the high-quality trail network around Kinloch. Each trail presents its unique features, providing a variety of experiences for participants.
Runners can expect a scenic journey along the beautiful Kawakawa Bay during the marathon, around the headland loop in the half marathon, or up the Whangamata stream for the shorter distances. The picturesque views and high-quality trails are inherent to all routes.
The event is organised by TotalSport. Distances available for the participants include a children’s race, as well as a range of adult races that cater to different running abilities and preferences.
