The Foundation Clinic Mauao Half Marathon is scheduled for 22 March 2025. This community-focused event takes participants through the iconic Mauao – Mt Maunganui in the Bay of Plenty.
The race caters to a variety of participants, from competitive off-road runners to those seeking a scenic challenge. The route includes three ascents and descents of Mt Maunganui, coupled with three laps around the mountain’s base track. The event offers the option for participants to complete the course individually or as part of a three-person team.
The event includes a half marathon and a half marathon relay, which can be completed by teams of three.
