Set to take place on 12 April 2025, the Routeburn Classic is a challenging adventure run that traverses the globally recognized Routeburn Track in Fiordland, New Zealand.
The course of this race spans across varying terrains within the World Heritage Area, Fiordland National Park. It commences from a lush native bush, leads up to an exposed alpine environment, and culminates in a descent through a forest, following a river and waterfalls to the finish line. Runners will encounter a maximum elevation of 1127 meters, providing a demanding uphill climb and challenging descents. The track is primarily technical, with rocks and tree roots adding to the complexity of the race.
